Ms. Penn is the amazing spanish teacher. She cares about each and every student that are in both spanish one and two. Even though she might make it seem hard, Ms. Penn is really helping students towards a goal of succeeding. If a student needs help, she is usually in her classroom always willing to help. Her room is located in the north hall on the main level in room N104.
Spanish One and Two
Spanish 1 is for first year students who are beginning that language. They learn lots of vocabulary that is valuable to comprehending the language. Students take notes and play games to learn the vocabulary. Students also watch videos to understand how to conjugate verbs. During the year, there is a country project. Throughout the year they do skits to show how they are learning the vocabulary. At the end of the year, there is a final exam that has parts of everything you learned throughout the year.
Spanish 2 is for the advanced students who have already taken spanish 1. You learn more vocabulary. She has students create skits to let them show how they comprehend the new vocabulary. Then students will watch movies in spanish and have books they must read in spanish. There are videos to show how to understand the new vocabulary better. Students take more quizzes and tests than spanish 1.
